Student's creativity on show for all to enjoy...

Just because you may not have chosen Art & Design as your course, or your day to day routine doesn't involve art, doesn't mean that you can't appreciate good Art when you see it. At Cumbernauld College, we're not short of talent when it comes to the creative studies.

So this June the College Street and Chill Out Area at the East Dunbartonshire Campus will be transformed into an exhibition space showcasing the up and coming artistic talent of the future, as the NC Art & Design graduates exhibit their work.

This is your chance to see the work of possibly the next Salvador Dali or Stefan Sagmeister on your own door step... Maybe you're friends with them already and you don't even know it.

Following the success of last year's exhibition, the bar is set especially high for the standard of quality this year.

Comments from last year’s exhibition include:

Last night we took a wee trip to Cumbernauld College to see what budding talent was on offer at their end of year show and we must say we it was well worth the journey.

Both the students and the tutors must be commended for achieving such a high standard of work

Each student exhibiting has demonstrated a great deal of skill and critical understanding far beyond their years

Please take the time to come along and view the exhibition:
